buildOn Presentation at Adobe San Jose

Catarina Schwab, Vice President, buildOn, was kind enough to visit with Robert's friends and colleagues this week at the Adobe Systems headquarters in San Jose. Catarina made a presentation about buildOn, the global non-profit organization with educational programs in the US and abroad. Robert and Mira have partnered with buildOn to fund and construct a two room schoolhouse in Nicaragua later this year. Please take a look at this presentation, including the last few slides that discuss buildOn's activities in Nicaragua and Robert and Mira's Mustardseed Schoolhouse Project.

Brunch with Gunar and Phaedra

Robert and Rory met Gunar and Phaedra for brunch this morning at the Axis cafe. Gunar is up to some interesting business lately, which makes for good conversation. The kids played outside the restaurant in the wet. Robert is having mixed results using one of his old Nikon lenses on his cheapo digital slr. Trying to remember how to manually focus. The weather is great when it stops raining.
